Read for the thrill of it
Little Brigand Books is an independent publisher of historical fiction, mystery and suspense, and anything else that takes our fancy. We choose stories for the pull of the next page.
Every title gets the care of a much larger list: a cover worth holding, a text worth trusting, and a reader we have in mind from the first line.
Our device
The brigand that serves as our device is drawn from an early seventeenth century etching, after Jacques Callot's Gobbi series. He keeps watch beside the wordmark and signs the footer.
“Read for the thrill of it.”
